Form DPN-POA-01
Founder Access · 2026
Your pack needs an emergency plan. Tonight.
If you're hospitalized, arrested, deployed, or in a crash tomorrow — who has the legal power to get your dog, your cat, your whole pack?
Married. Engaged. Dating. Situationship. Single.
Your dog didn't sign up for any of it.
Your emergency contact has no authority at the shelter counter. Your vet can refuse anything beyond basic care. dogprenup™ gives the person you choose — your partner, your best friend, your sister — a signed, notarized power of attorney for your animals — modeled on the one service members sign before they deploy — plus a written plan for everything after.

Straight answers
Questions people ask.
Is this legally binding?
It's a formally executed power of attorney and agreement, signed before two witnesses and a notary, written so vets, shelters, and officers can rely on it in good faith. No document can force every third party to accept it, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Does it work in my state?
Some states publish their own power-of-attorney form. If yours does, your documents say so plainly and tell you how to add your state's form alongside ours, naming the same person.
Is this only for couples?
No. Solo mode exists because most people with a pet have nobody automatically authorized to act for them. Couples use it while they still like each other.
Is this a will or a pet trust?
No. It covers the time you're alive but can't be there, and records what you want after. Keep your will; this fills the gap it leaves.
Do I pay now?
No. Joining the founder list is free. We'll email you your founder link when documents open.
